Bharti Airtel Introduces New Payment Options to Purchase iPhone 3G

NEW DELHI - September 07, 2008 - Bharti Airtel today announced the launch of Equal Monthly Installment (EMI) options for customers who want to purchase Apple iPhone 3G. Bharti Airtel, in partnership with VISA, will offer easy financing options for all VISA cardholders of ICICI bank, HDFC bank, SBI Cards and Citibank.

VISA card holders of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Cards and Citibank intending to purchase iPhone 3G can visit select Airtel Relationship Centres for more details regarding the EMI options. SBI Card holders can call 39020202 or 1800 180 1290 (if calling from BSNL/MTNL line) within 10 days of purchasing iPhone 3G to benefit from the EMI options. Citibank card holders should contact Citibank Customer Care and request for EMI conversion.

iPhone 3G is priced at Rs 31,000 for 8GB and Rs 36,100 for 16GB version. The 16GB iPhone is available in two colours - black and white.
